1° DAY: CYPRUS
Arrival at Larnaka airport, accommodation in the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

2° DAY: PAPHOS
After breakfast, departure with the guide for the antique kingdom of Curlum. Visit of the ruins of Eustolios’s house and the Greek-Roman theatre. On the way to Paphos, stop at “Petra tou Romiou” where, according to Greek mythology, Venus was born. In Paphos you’ll visit the Kings’ tombs, and the Roman mosaics of the house of Dionysus; also visit of St. Salamon’s catacomb and St. Paul’s pillar. Continuation for the village of Yeroskipou, where you can buy traditional sweets.
Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

3° DAY: KYKKOS
After breakfast departure for an excursion to the winery area and the picturesque villages. After a stop at Mount Olympus (1951 mt. above sea level), continuation for Kykkos, the island’s most famous monastery. Visit of the church and of the Byzantine museum. Then continuation for Throni, to visit the tomb of Archbishop Makarios; from here you can also see the Morphou Bay. Departure for the village of Pedhoulas.
Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

4° DAY: VILLAGES IN THE MOUNTAINS
After breakfast departure for Mount Troodos. First visit Agios Nicolaos tis Tegis Church: it’s completely covered with frescoes from the XI century, and it’s considered one of the most interesting Byzantine churches of the island. Then continuation for Galata, to visit the church of Archangel Michael, with post Byzantine frescoes, and the church of Panagia Podithou, with post Byzantine paintings. Stop for lunch in the characteristic village of Laneia, where you can taste Cypriot grappa. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

5° DAY: NICOSIA
After breakfast departure for Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus. The first stop will be at the handicraft centre, where you can see artisans at work. Then you’ll pass near the “Green line”, on the frontier, and you’ll visit the Venetian walls. You’ll visit also the Cathedral of St. John, with its frescoes of the XVIII century, the Byzantine Museum, with the biggest collection of icons of the island, and the Archaeological Museum. Stop for lunch and shopping in the old quart of Laiki Geitonia, with many taverns and shops. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

6° DAY: LARNAKA
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for an excursion to Larnaka: first stop at the church of Angeloktisti, famous for its mosaics; then visit the mosque of Hela Sultan. Free lunch. In the afternoon visit the village of Lefkara, well-known for its lace. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

7° DAY: LIMASSOL
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Temple of Apollo, considered one of the most beautiful of the island. Then visit one of the biggest wine firms of the island, where you can taste some famous Cypriot wines. Return to Limassol and visit its castle, with its medieval museum. Free time at choice.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

8° DAY: CYPRUS
After breakfast transfer to Larnaka airport for re-entry.
