1° DAY
Arrival in Olbia port in the morning. Excursion
to Maddalena and Caprera Island. Panoramic
tour, visit of the town, and Garibaldi’s
house in Caprera. Departure for Palau, accommodation
in the hotel and lunch. In the afternoon
tour of the Costa Smeralda, with pauses
in famous Porto Cervo, Porto Rotondo and
Baia Sardinia. Return to the hotel, dinner
and overnight stay.
2° DAY
After breakfast departure for Castelsardo,
well-known town because of the coral artisan
shops and Sardinian basket manufacture.
Visit of the town centre and lunch in a
restaurant. In the afternoon continuation
for Porto Torres and visit of the Romanic
Basilica of San Gavino and the archaeological
area. Then leave for Stintino, well-known
seaside resort, and pause at the famous
beaches of Saline and Pelosa.
Transfer to Alghero, accommodation in the
hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
3° DAY
After breakfast visit the Nettuno Caves.
Lunch free. In the afternoon visit Alghero’s
historical centre, admiring: the Cathedral,
S. Francesco’s Church, the walls and
bastions.
4° DAY
After breakfast departure for Orgosolo.
Wander around the streets of the centre,
admiring the characteristic murales. Typical
lunch with shepherds. In the afternoon visit
Nuoro to admire the Sardinian Popular Traditions
Museum and Grazia Deledda’s house.
Accommodation in hotel in Nuoro, dinner
and overnight stay.
5° DAY After
breakfast leave for Tharros to visit the
ruins of the old Roman town and S. Giovanni
in Sinis Church. Lunch free in Cabras, a
little fisherman’s town.
In the evening transfer to Cagliari, accommodation
in the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
6°
DAY Breakfast in the hotel. In
the morning visit Cagliari: the Cathedral,
the Roman Amphitheatre, Bonaria Basilica,
the Pisa Towers and the Archaeological Museum.
In the afternoon visit the archaeological
area
of Nora, old town situated on a promontory;
you’ll admire: the ruins of the spa,
the amphitheatre and the mosaics.
Departure for re-entry.
